The practice
Citysky has been building in Kochi for ten years. Six projects across the city and Ernakulam, from a pair of houses on eleven cents to fourteen homes around a courtyard.

The architecture is the same at every tier. What changes is how much is decided, sourced and installed before you arrive.
The structure, finished. Yours to shape.
The architecture complete: flooring laid, walls finished, wiring and plumbing in, kitchen and bathrooms fitted. Everything else is a decision you make in your own time.
Essentials in place. Move in, settle slowly.
Beds, wardrobes, dining and seating chosen to suit the plan. The house works from the first night; the layers that make it personal can follow.
Complete. Designed to match the architecture. Move in and live.
Furnishing drawn by the same team that drew the house, so proportions, timber and light agree with one another. Sourced, delivered and installed before the keys change hands. Nothing to coordinate.

Our approach
We begin with the character of a site: its light, its levels, the trees already on it and the way water moves across it in August. The plan follows from there.
Materials and detailing chosen to age well in Kerala's climate. Deep overhangs, lime render, timber that is meant to silver. Nothing that looks best on handover day and worse each year after.
The same attention on a door handle as on an elevation. We draw the joinery, specify the fittings, and check the light switches sit where a hand expects them.
Architecture, interiors and handover managed as one, by one team. When the keys change hands the house is finished, not nearly finished.
